Job Title: Assistant in Nursing

Location Central West (Orange and Bathurst)

Smarter Living Choices is seeking a passionate, caring, team-orientated Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our Orange/Bathurst and surrounds team on a casual basis (leading to permanency for the right candidates) for an immediate start. Working with clients in their own homes and our community.

Responsibilities

  • Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
  • Domestic assistance: light housework (cleaning, laundry and meal preparation)
  • Supporting clients who use personal equipment /aid, this may include walking or standing frames, wheelchairs, hoists
  • Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
  • Respite Activities: Shopping, any planned social activity
  • Palliative Care
  • Dementia Care

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Police Check
  • Working with children check
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Reliable Vehicle and Drivers License
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • NDIS Worker orientation module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
  • Cert III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent
